I did not know this about shutting down the bike, thank you guys for sharing that info. I may have traded by 16 RGS in prematurely as I thought it was sumping, I may have not been shutting down properly. Anyway, traded for an 18 Road Glide Ultra that is transferring. Will soon be applying for the fix, but want to go through the proper steps of having the dealer officially document it.

So after watching the video of the recall upgrade, unless the actuator housing you currently have is scored or scratched inside the cylinder, they will reuse the current housing which would mean that it would not be necessary to drill the hole since it is already there.

But they would have to change the seal and that might be a problem with some of them.

I will just ask them to remove the boot and use the O-ring that is already there. It may turn out that you will still have to go back in and fix it, but for me that has become the norm for dealing with the MOCO.

$tonecold, could you please message me? I would like to get a copy of the installation instructions for "The Fix". Or, if somebody else has a copy could you please message me?

Thanks!
