LED accent lights
 

Ok, I'm thinking about adding the LED accent lights to the bike. The opinion I've heard at work is mixed. What do you guys think about the accent lights on the bike? I think they look pretty cool. I understand that most states don't allow these to be used when the bike is being ridden, so.... wondering if I should do it at all. Thoughts? Sample picture below.........

I personally dig them. Had them on my last 2 bikes.

I dont think most states prohibit use during riding, I think they restrict color use and flashing. I would just check the state(s) you ride in.

Yeah I'm pretty sure NC prohibits blue and any flashing leds. Possibly red as well, but not sure.

I like them too, but a lot of ppl say they're outdated.

Yeah I really kinda like them. I think it looks really cool, especially on a chromed out bike.

I have them they change colors. Wisconsin does not like blue or red

I had them on my last bike and got a xkchrome setup that is controlled by your cell phone. After having it for a year everyone in my area that added lights got the same kit I had. I will most likely add them to my new bike at some point. They were actually bright enough to light up the ditches if I changed the color to white.

If you think they are cool who gives a shit what anyone else thinks! I would stay away from blue or keep them off while driving or cops make take offense, the halo lights are pretty cool also!

Yeah, I agree with you 100%. I will be getting them added. It’s nice that they shut off too. Sometimes you might not want all that light.
