Default First Observations from M8 Stage II Upgrade

It isn't very often we can ride in February here in Northern Kentucky. However today it was 80 wonderful sunny degrees. I finished Stage I on my 2017 RGU last week and have just been waiting for a nice day to try it out. I didn't think there was any change until I got on the expressway. I felt it had a little more pick up between 60-80 mph. A great ride and I'm still getting accustomed to the RGU. After years of electra Glides the RGU is a little different ride. After the ride I dropped my RGU at HD to install the Stage II torque cam.

The stage 1 is a nice start, I didn’t feel much with it either. But the Stage 2 Torque cam really woke up the bike!

Thank you for your comments. I'm hoping for a real wake up.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts as I just bought my 2017 Limited last week and am thinking about the Stage II upgrade.

I thought stage 1 was a nice improvement , my expectations were low it is after all just an air cleaner and slip ons with a new tune, it was for sure noticeable, I did just the slip ons while waiting on the rest of the stuff so it wasn’t just the better sound, and since it’s a stepping stone to the stage two, pretty much a no brainier imo

The stage 2 torque cam is a vast improvement, stock torque remains at the bottom and power rolls on least a thousand rpm to the right. Perfect for the heavy touring bikes.
