Default Anyone do an aftermarket cam with a harley 107 to 114 stage 4 yet?

Been going all different directions on what I want to do with my bike. Thinking lately a stage iv with a non harley cam. Curious if anyone has done it yet? I have a redshift 468 and s&s 475 sitting on the shelf but don't know if either of those would be a good option.

Just asking -- why would you do that, when you could get a Fuelmoto big bore kit for about $1,000 less, including the cam of your choice?

To me the whole point of going with the Harley stage kits is to keep the warranty. If you modify the package you void the warranty, so if the warranty's gone either way, why not go with a higher-performing, arguably better-made product that costs less? The FM 120" kit works on an M8 107, bumps the displacement twice as much as the Harley 114 kit, and costs $1,000 less to buy, and if you get it installed it's even that much less as well. You can get the kit, have it installed and dyno-tuned for about the same cost as the Harley Stage IV kit parts alone.

The first question you need to ask yourself is what are you looking for? IF cost is a concern I would look at a stage III rather than a Stage IV. I would not use the HD cam in either kit as there are plenty of better choices. If you go with the increased displacement and compression ratio IMHO both of the cams you have listed would come in a little short of what you could have.

has plenty of various configuration for you to see and

shows what adding a TTS 200 cams gets in a Stage IV

Haven't rules that out. Just curious if anyone's made good power on the 114. The stage Iv is $2116 at board tracker. Cylinders, pistons, heads, tb, injectors, etc. FM is $1699 and still needs tb, injectors, and uses stock heads. I know the se cnc heads are nothing special but there is a decent value in a stage iv kit from HD even if you have to buy a different cam.

Roger that, forgot the boardtracker savings, which is odd because I order everything from them and Surdyke...

I have the 475 cam all installed and waiting for snow to melt in front of my shop. Can’t wait to see how much different it is than stock.

I have the harley torque cam in mine now. I planned to just change cams to hold me over for a while till some more of the big bore aftermarket got figured out so I ordered the rs468. Then after the cam testing I liked the s&s 475c better so I bought it. Now I'm undecided again and might just do the big bore now.
