Default Really?

How much did it cost you above and beyond the cost of the bike to get all these mods done? I hope you did an up grade on your clutch. You will have engine problems now because that engine will have stresses that many components weren't designed to handle. I moved to a triumph thunderbird about 7 yrs ago for many reasons. Besides it having a modern engine design, cost and quality the spec's are impressive at no additional cost. 98 hp and 115 pounds of torque. Total cost= $17,000. Total problems after 40,000 miles= 0. I know it's not a Harley. That's my point. Seriously though,Good luck with your ride man. I mean it. Signed: been there, done that .

Yeah Really. And on the contrary, my bike now runs properly. It runs cool, because it’s actually tuned to perfection given the regular Stage 2 mods it runs. I now have the custom map for my engine, rather than the lean map it came with and the garbage dyno the dealer designed. Nothing is stressed using the components in my Stage 2 build, all items were designed for the new engine, most being genuine Motor Co parts. I ride with mechanical sympathy anyway, but your comments are simply ignorant nonsense. Making a bike breath freely, and having it run in stoich, help not hinder engine life.

I have over 21,000km on this bike. Zero issues. No sumping, no transfer, doesn’t use oil discernible on dipstick between services, and, I’ll bet you 20 bucks I’m still riding it in 20 years time. I wonder how many bikes will you have gone through over the same time frame brother? Good luck to you lol.

triumph thunderbird

Good luck with your T-bird. Why are you still interested in Harleys if your new ride is so awesome?
