crank sensor
mine had several o-rings replaced before dealer found out crank sensor threads were defective. dealer replaced engine cases. ugh!

CPS is fairly low. 3 1/2 oz. is norm. There is a procedure floating around on here for checking the M8 for sumping. Sounds like your oil bag must have been empty. Major oil pump failure.

Wait, 3.5oz or 3.5 qts?? No need for oil pan if you drained 3.5qts. Good lord.

I found 20 quarts out of crankshaft position CKP!
