Slip ons only, dealer says need tuner?
#11
With street Cannons the dealer told me I had to do the street tuner to keep engine warranty. I then got a high cold start Idle 2500 then down to 1700 then the normal 950.
Took it back to dealer yesterday and he adjusted AFRs and it runs great now. HD made them show I had a street tuner with slip on's to approve the work. Dealer that did the slip
on's tuner was Kokomo Harley,Dealer that did the adjustment Mann's HD. Both are great dealers. Both said the same thing ,you need a tuner to keep engine warranty.

Whats your point? I never had any either of those symptoms. Are you saying the slipons were the cause? If so please explain the technical details of your theory. Because clearly the moco disagrees with you.

I get your point, I listed the dealers if you would like to call. It even states on the web site a street tuner is required. Also remember that's the dealer you bought it from.

When you have an engine replaced (and of course a bike), that doesnt happen without the approval of the Moco.

mentioned before, but their documentation is inconsistent..Online store description states ECM recalibration required with SEPST when installing Street Canons..but there is no calibration in the SEPST for just Street Canons..not to mention the instructions that come with the Street Canons do not state ECM recalibration required...believe others have stated on newer muffler versions the instructions do say ECM recalibration required, but still no calibration in the SEPST for just that..clear as mud right?
