Right leg on fire
So I'm riding around on a nice 80 deg. day, the first one riding my 2 week old Road king and OMG this thing is hot as hell, WTF? Will a real tune with a aftermarket tuner cool this bike down, or does the cat have to go to make it comfortable on hot days? I'm moving south soon, this can not stay like this. Yes, I know, the warranty.

it's bad if you can feel the CAT on a RK, because they don't have hard lowers to trap the heat & make it eddy around your feet.
my FLHTK is already feeling hot, but i thought that was because i had the vents closed on the hard lowers.
you "should" be able to buy an OEM pipe with cat removed, and that "should" keep you in warranty with most dealers
