Default Incentive

I think $4500 to $5000 is realistic with the $1500 discount. Seeing as my dealer knocked $3000 off the MSRP. A few months ago on a Roadglide Ultra. Closest thing they have to what I want, since I've been riding a limited.

It will be, without a doubt. The sumping issue is happening to less than 1% of the bikes sold and most all sumping is related to the stage 4 kits. You see tons of sumping threads on here and thats because people with issues find forums like this to figure out what the hell is going on and how to fix it. I almost never see a broken down HD and as long as I've been riding the only breakdowns I had were 90% related to the way i installed something incorrect and almost 75% of those were on a shovel.

The Trans Fluid Transfer (which seems to be the more prevalent issue) has nothing to do with stage xx kits from anything I've read does it? Also, from what I've read, doesn't leave you broken down, must causes quite an annoyance of running to the dealer to get things documented so the MoCo will hopefully fix your bike

Just curious. Why did you buy a Harley?

I would agree with carpetride... I've had other brand bikes and all I did to them was change the oil. I've stuck lots of cash into my Harley fixing mechanical issues. (Wheel bearings, compensator, main trans baring, failed clutchs.. etc).. Things I never had to deal with on other bikes I've owned. So to answer your question. The "other" bikes aren't a Harley and I wanted a Harley... Doesn't mean I don't wish it was as reliable as the other brands.

Why did I buy a Harley? Because that's the only bike I would ever want. I'm not saying I have had glaring reliability issues on any I've owned ( just a seal and motor mount replacement). They have been good bikes so I don't worry and I really don't expect to be stranded though I know some people that have had issues. I'm just saying that honda has a good reliability reputation so I have to give them that. I still wouldn't want one.

Back on topic, I received the offer in the mail. And i own a Victory, two Triumphs and a BMW. Last Harley I purchased new was a 2011 Wide Glide. Haven't really shopped at a Harley dealership lately, but the $1500 offer does have me interested. Not sure what criteria they used to come up with the recipients.

I think they check DMV records for people that own "a Victory, two Triumphs and a BMW"..LOL
