Default Installed 10” Factory 47 bars on my 2018 Road Glide Special

I couldn’t find many photos of 10” Factory 47 bars so I decided to install and post some photos, maybe it could help someone trying to decide. I chose this size because I didn’t want the bars higher than the vent and windshield. Install was easy and I really am happy with the results.

yep, every time I see a pic like that, I momentarily regret not buying Special. Just for a moment though. Very nice job, they look great on that bike.

Those bars look perfect on your bike! I just did 10" bars on my street glide as well. Did you notice any increase in vibration with the new bars? I could swear i feel more vibrations after the bars but it might be in my head.

Nice! How was it to internally pull the wires in the bars?

Me too - love them!! They are the perfect hight for me, plus wider than stock. Extremely comfortable riding position.

I’ve only put about 100 miles on it since I installed the bars, but I didn’t notice any added vibration. Did you also install new grips?

Pulling the wires through was a little difficult at the points, but the Factory 47 video was helpful. On the video it shows that they de-pin the connector but on the 2018 the connector is tiny and can be left intact through the bars. Helps that the bars are 1.5” in diameter. Not sure how it would have been with thinner bars.
