X2.

Washing the bike off I'd hate for the buttons to get wet and short out, or just riding in the rain doing it.

How does it work with the thumb controls? Do you foresee any issues if it gets wet?

Any pics of the screen when it’s on? Maybe a video of you using the thumb controls and going through the features?

So just curious with the new Harley Infotainment. What does the Sony Aftermarket give you that you don't have with the stock HU. I mean other then probably a cleaner sound. I thought the Harley Infotainment had Bluetooth, Nav, Pandora, Spotify, etc...? No..? I haven't looked into one. I replaced the HK in my '09 with aftermarket, but I did that because I wanted bluetooth. I bought a new Tahoe and it has a nice GM Touch Screen HU with Android Auto, Apple Car Play, etc. I'd never consider replacing it. I would have thought that the Harley HU would be the same experience.

the HD HU is 10+ years behind in technology. It's probably cool for people who still dont have a smart phone. That's about it. I will be doing one of these Sony HU when I can afford it.

I take it you don’t own a bike with a HD 6.5 Infotainment system.... If not, go to a dealership and play with one and you’ll see how incredibly inferior it is. The features are significantly lacking and slow, the GPS isn’t very accurate and you have to pay to stay current with road changes, and it’s just all around way behind in tech.

And don't forget to mention, Harley cuts the amplifier settings (via the bin files) as soon as you start the bike. They just about take all the bass away.
