new radio replacement for 6.5

Thats why I was asking if you found out it was "WEATHERPROOF". It reads as though it is a interior car head unit that will fit in the HD fairing and somehow works with the hand controls. So far non of that has been verified. I'm not bashing your find due, just seeing if you asked any questions about it before dropping $545 to enlighten the rest of us here, thats what this forum is about.
Washing the bike off I'd hate for the buttons to get wet and short out, or just riding in the rain doing it.

So just curious with the new Harley Infotainment. What does the Sony Aftermarket give you that you don't have with the stock HU. I mean other then probably a cleaner sound. I thought the Harley Infotainment had Bluetooth, Nav, Pandora, Spotify, etc...? No..? I haven't looked into one. I replaced the HK in my '09 with aftermarket, but I did that because I wanted bluetooth. I bought a new Tahoe and it has a nice GM Touch Screen HU with Android Auto, Apple Car Play, etc. I'd never consider replacing it. I would have thought that the Harley HU would be the same experience.

I take it you don’t own a bike with a HD 6.5 Infotainment system.... If not, go to a dealership and play with one and you’ll see how incredibly inferior it is. The features are significantly lacking and slow, the GPS isn’t very accurate and you have to pay to stay current with road changes, and it’s just all around way behind in tech.
