Default Trans Oil Deflector Kit Poll

Yo Guys and Gals,
PLEASE reply to this POLL only if you have had the Harley Deflector Kit installed by your local dealer, no self installs or results from a friends bike. Just yours and your personal results. Please include how many miles you have on since the fix and your results, may also want to note how bad your transfer was prior to the attempted fix. I am attempting to add a poll as well. Fee free to add details if you wish in your post.

Thanks All!
Eagle, Over and Out

I had the deflector installed and only have about 300 miles on it. So far so good but noticed the dealer filled the trans above the F mark. Transferred 6-8 ounces in 400 miles before the install of the deflector kit. I did not vote yet as I prefer to put more miles on to check results.

Wow, only 1 vote so far? I know there are those of you out there that had this done to try and resolve your transfer issue. Remember to post your results and details as well as vote.....

Thanks

Had oil deflector put in about month ago still leaking 8 ounces in 350 miles. Dealer changed from syn 3 to Harley transmission primary chain oil and loss dropping at rate of one ounce per 100 miles of normal riding. Went back to dealer today after riding 350 miles per request by them. Still leaking and they do not know what to do to fix. Still under warranty so trying figure next step.

Dealer installed deflector and it may be worse now, I know it definitely is no better.
Transferred 16 0zs after a 750 mile trip and 7 0zs in 117 miles. Still under warranty and the
dealer is having me bring it in each time it is off the stick to verify both levels. Headed out on a road trip this weekend then I'll be back to the dealer. Not going to do too many more times before I get the ball rolling on Magnusson - Moss Warranty Act, pretty much the same as Lemon Law

I can't vote yet, as my kit is on order as I type, but I will be sure to update my findings.

Not sure what next step is but to trade for softail since no problems on cable clutch vs hydraulic and no puking transmission oil into primary case
