Anyone have any experience in the Magnaflow 4.5 Hitman slip ons? Trying to make a choice between the Magnaflow and the Bassani DNT.

 

I have the Magnaflow Top Gun 4.5, they sound great, very low rumble and nice bark when you roll on it. They had the best sound of the 6 or so brands I listened to.

 

I have a set of the Hitmans on my 17 RKS. I'm also running the V&H Powerdual header and has been tuned with a FP3. Very happy with how they sound, look and perform. Very deep rumble, mild sound at idle, never noticed them being obnoxiously loud. Seem to be very well made. My only complaint is that you have to be careful when backing up to curbs when parking as the exaggerated slant cut tip design protrudes further than you think.

 

 

Running them with the Rinehardt pipes..sounds great. Nice bark..17RGS

 

I'm interested in them as well. Torn between the S&S MK45s and the Hitmans. Running Fullsac MX header

 

 

 

lyork, how did you black out those hitman exhaust tips?

 

The S+S is a great pipe but I can tell you the idle is no where close to these two videos posted here. If you have a cam you may get some lope from the MK45 but if its stock it sounds like a car idling, smooth with zero lope. They do bark some when on the gas but idle is dead to the world. (Stock anyway)
