After installing the kit I can verify just the fan shroud will not fit the oem oil cooler on my 17 SGS. The mounting brackets that hold the OEM cooler in place are welded onto the sides and top of the cooler. The fan kit doesn't have any brackets welded onto the cooler, there are tabs on the sides and top of the shroud that hold it in place. The only way that I see it MIGHT fit is to take a Dremel and cut off the 3 metal brackets and clean them up
