I stand corrcted, The OEM CVO ventilator is not a K&N, The ventilator kit may have the K&N washable filter. I had made a reference only to the CVO stock filter which is washable but not oiled.
No confusion intended.

Appreciate all the responses. Just paid $23 shipping to return $70 filter (Canadian $). I'm in it this deep so I'll purchase HD 2017+ version (K&N) from the dealer and then cut open the original filter that came with the Ventilator Intake kit in attempt to demystify this

Need to return saddle bag guards as well. Won't work with keystone lights (67800589). Banner week so far.

I have the SE Ventilator on my bike and it is indeed a K&N filter that can be gently washed and oiled.
