You're probably right but could you link a few of them here? I remember one guy with a big bore kit maybe, but not many (any) stock that I can remember. It's not even a topic on the softtail forum that I can see.

Oil transferring has only happened with the bikes that have hydraulic clutches and then only a small percentage.
Fluid transfer between transmission and primary is unrelated to the issue of engine sumping. They are 2 separate issues occuring in M8 engines.

I can only recall reading about one Softail sumping, it was a stock Fat Bob if I remember correctly.

The touring has the balancer in the front not rear..

I find it interesting that some think the counterbalancer is what could be causing the sumping. TC B motors have 2 and no sumping..

I don't think they're suggesting the counterbalancer itself is causing it; just pointing out that the case design is different to accommodate the counterbalancer, and wondering if the case differences extend into areas which would influence sumping.

Someone else can do the research. I've read at least 3 softails experiencing sumping on various threads (different tag names). Its ok if you wish to believe 2018 softails are exempt. Clearly there are less postings regarding the softails but 2018 softail owners have definitely experienced sumping and posted about it.

Well there is slightly more space but another counter rotating weight..

I heard HD tried to rotate the balancers the same direction but it didn't work..

Sooo like I said before if there is one I’d love to hear about it.
i havent seen one Softail model that’s doing it. 2018 touring bike yes. I also know of a Softail that had the oil pump fail but that wasn’t a sumping issue it was a shitty build from the factory. So much hearsay around here about this sumping issue. This forum is making it look like a much bigger issue than it really is.
