i am come from a different angle, road triumphs most of my life, last bike was a Thunderbird Storm 1700 , great bike strong bike but i wanted a bagger. Not much to choose from that was not Metric so my 17 road glide is my first HD and i love the dam thing! no where near the pull etc of the triumph (stock vs stock) but i don't care anymore, its a nice bike and i can't ride it enough.
On my 18 Ultra Classic, no heated gribs, no security system but did have the 6.5 Boom. I wanted the 114 engine and GTS boom and all the other upgrades, So, I got the 19 Limited.
Dinner last night with a buddy and our wives... We had just wrapped-up a run through the Florida Keys a week back. Planned east coast rides together for 2019 including Montreal, North Carolina, Maryland and Florida.
I put 21,550 miles on my 17 CVO Street glide before I traded it.
I put 24,800 miles on my 18 CVO Road glide before I traded it.
I have 2200 mies on my 19 CVO Road glide.
So roughly 48,500 miles is just over 2 years on the M8. Its growing on me.
