Welcome, and I really like the way your bike looks! The RG has greatly grown on me over the past year. Beautiful.

Nice RG and welcome to the M8 forum. I came from a 95" stage 4 Dyna but love my M8 King much better so no going back now.

 

Yeah welcome. I traded my 2016 FLHTCU and a Yamaha FJR for the 2018 FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, back in March of this year. I had spent two years putting 36k miles on the FLHTCU and was never very happy with the batwing fairing out on the open highway. Too much buffeting. One day, we took out a new FLTRU for a test ride, and realized very quickly that the shark fairing is the way to go for highway at speed. OTOH, it is also a rather hot fairing for slow traffic in heat. But, I never have been a putter. The open highway is where I live, and the RG fairing is as perfect as can be out there.

 

So far I'm really loving this bike!!! Especially after dialing the rear shock back that was on 7 from the showroom floor (Brand New) Just 1/2 turn and I am in heaven!!! Bike is idling a little rough so something I need to watch but just 240 miles as of this morning.
