Default Road King Fork Fangs

I've got a 2018 RKS with a 20" Freedom Shield CVO windshield. The windshield is great at blocking wind to my head and chest, but the wind that comes up around the tank is too much. I can cut off most of the air by riding with my legs hugging the tank, but I don't want to be stuck in that position on long rides. Has anyone installed fork fangs on their Road King, particularly an RKS with any luck? I'm not a huge fan of the look, but this is a time where function matters more. I'd love to see what you've got. FYI, I've got the chopped engine guard, so lowers are a no-go.

MJ is correct, they only list them for the Road King, not the RKS, and, they are chrome....but they do work well on my 2018 RK to eliminate buffeting.

They normally mount on the outside edges of the Road King Windshield brackets, but in your case, you might be able to mount them under the turn signal mounting plates. That way, even if you needed to drill or notch them to suit the mounting bolt locations or signal light wiring, that part would be hidden.
Try them first to see how well they work, then you can always black them out to suit your RKS.

Here are some black deflectors.
I agree 100%. Wind deflectors are necessary to stop the buffeting coming from below.

I had a 2009 RKC before I got the Electra Glide that I put deflectors on. They make a world of difference! The appearance didn't bother me at all because I would have rather had that than have my face blown off at 75 mph!

Highly recommend, really cut down on the wind.
Mine are from Harley, powder coated them black.

Those are probably the nicest looking Fork Fangs / Fork Wind Deflectors / Lowers you will ever find. I've got the chrome version on my RK, but the black ones really suit the RKS.
Other companies like National Cycle and JES Custom Accents just bend and shear metal into crude shapes, but the H-D version is "art".

I went with the JES simply for availability. I should have them in a couple days. I too am not a huge fan of their look vs HD, but we’ll see. I’ve got plenty of credits at the dealership that I can spend.
