Here is a transmission problem coming I bet
here is my gear set. No warning just grinding local dealer has done6 already. turns out not hardened all the way causing problem. My father took to work and had it checked. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...0cafc205e.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...de139fc5c.jpeg |
Problem coming? I'd say it already arrived. Hopefully the repair will be covered.

Second one I've seen reported here in about two years. The last one was due to insufficient hardening.

I would also like to see test results from a certified metallurgist. Just stating trans has improper hardened gears caused trans failure and OP's dad said so,where is the proof? Maybe improper shifting is at fault. At this point who knows.Hope OP has better luck with his Baker trans.
