Doesn't the heading say the oil kit is for Twin Cam engines, not the M8?

i’ll believe it when I see it. HD clearly wanted to prevent owners from seeing oil pressure. The sensor was included in the 2016 TC Rushmores but removed from the 2017 M8 Rushmore. They’ve had 2 yrs to add it as an accessory option. Its not gonna happen since you’ll need a BOOM software change to display oil pressure. Which explains why the aftermarket hasn’t released their own oil pressure sensor.

The MoCo mentioned that an accessory would be available in the P&A catalog when they released the M8 in August 2016. This was stated in the Boom update 1.20.1 that was released on 8/23/2016

• Vehicle Information screen will display “OK” or “Check Oil”
for oil pressure on MY17 models. Oil pressure values can
be enabled with a P&A accessory for MY17 vehicles.

Hey it only took the MoCo 4 years to provide a fix to switch the PTT button and the Cruise Control switches from right to left so there's still hope for an Oil Pressure PSI display. Any day now LOL

It's already been done. Max made his own mechanical setup. Around here somewhere.

We're talking about an analog pressure gauge with an oil line tapped into the oil system, not a pressure transducer and digital readout, correct?

You can put a gauge on an M8 with a couple o ring boss fittings and a oil pressure gauge of your choice. Been done . tap it off the stock sensor port OT oioil filter housing. Use whatever gauge tickles your *****

I'm well aware of the fact that you can put any oil pressure gauge on an M8, and I'm also aware of how to do it. My question was concerning this particular thread topic. I'm curious if somebody is coming out with an analog pressure gauge set up like the Arlen Ness one that I have in this picture mounted on my TC RK. I might be interested in something like that. If it's something that goes in a fairing, I'm out.
