Default 2018 fat bob replacement rear fender.

Has anyone changed the rear fender on a 2018 fat bob.

Woukd like someting to close the gap up from the tire to the fender.

The frames look kinda like the older models of the fat bob but not sure and I do not have access to both.

Still looking into this and have yet to find anything that’s a direct replacement. So with that being said anyone know of an aftermarket that would lower the rear fender closer to the tire.

I have found all sorts of rear license plate bracket holders for the rear fender but 90% of them out of the uk.

Waiting on a new domoany to release a us cersion of the relocstor kn a couple weeks as well.

I had read the low rider fender will work on the fat bob but not sure.

I wonder if the street bob rear fender will fit the fat bob? I know the street bob has a 150 rear tire and the fat bob is an 180.

Havent been able to go to dealer and look yet.

Did you ever look further into this? I would like a full rear fender because I'm tired of mud and what not being flung up on my back and the seat and rear fender from the tire. I've been searching high and low and can't find a full rear fender for the 18 Fat Bob so I started thinking about either a 2018 Street Bob or Low Rider fender. The Low Rider has a 180 rear tire but I don't like the brake light on the fender so I would like to know if a Street Bob fender would work or not as well.

The street bob fender will not work. It is to narrow for the 180 tire. I tried it this weekend.

Also be aware any accessories you have like seats or backrest and such will only work with the fat bob struts as they have a taper and a twist in them. I am about to test fit the low rider fender and just weld up the light hole.

@Altereddezignz Thank you for your examination. Would you also change Fat Bob's fender supports (p.n. right 59500543 and left 59500544) for the Low Rider's one (p.ns. 59500583 and 59500584)? To kiss the tire tightly :-)

You have to change the struts b you cannot use the carbon struts with the low rider fender as the struts come up.to much. Also I still need to find out if the deer from a lr will even work with the tank on the fb. I think it will.but not sure till I try.
