Harley will probably add an oil cooler to the twin cooled models and call it Triple Cooled.

You know, that might be a good idea. not the marketing gimmick, just more better cooling for oil.

Anything to avoid a real radiator.

I think if they put a freakin refrigerator on it, the heat weenies would still try to enhance/add to it somehow.

The days of avoiding radiators are drawing to a close. Right now the Sportster is the only bike in the lineup that doesn't have some sort of radiator. The Revolution X bikes have full radiators, the new line that Harley just previewed are also all liquid cooled (likely based on the Revolution X), the M8 wetheads have small radiators, and the rest of the M8's have oil.cooling with radiators.

I think the Sportster will probably be all new this year or next, with the Revolution X motor...

If so, there won't be a single air-cooled-only engine in the lineup. Radiators are here to stay.

I thought the Twin Cooled bikes had a water radiator and an oil cooler .
So the twin bit pertains to water and air cooling .

Twin cooled bikes do not have an oil cooler.

LINK to more info and photos.

It also makes oil changes MUCH simpler.
Is that forced cooling? I don't see a fan.

There is no fan...no room for one.

It sits directly behind the lower fairing vent. So, when moving the air is gathered and forced thru that vent across the cooler.

Additionally, there is a patent pending oil cooler bracket that has beveled holes cut in it, it also gathers air and forces it across the cylinder fins.

When it is cold...40 or below, you can close the vent so no air is flowing across the cooler.
