who knows, who cares..yesterday is gone and today is now better so just ride ride ride!

Charging the customer to fix their mistake.

Actually not. When I took my bike in to get the updated tubes they didn't even know about the problem. They didn't have the parts in stock but had them in a new kit on the shelf. I was told they would warranty the parts but I would have to check the bike in to have them install the new lines.

I opted to pay the $18 instead and they sold me the parts out of the new kit on the shelf and installed them myself. Maybe 5 minutes. Actually took longer to wipe the oil residue out.

These tubes did not fit the stock Ventilator air cleaner on my 2018 Fat Boy 114, so I decided to completely eliminate the oil dribble by installing the Harley Heavy Breather AC.

yeah, that was going to be my next step when I stumbled upon the updated tubes which thankfully have worked and saved us from buying two Heavy Breathers

Installed the new updated OEM tubes, last night. We'll see if that takes care of the oil dribbling from the filter.

The updated tubes came with my SE high flow air cleaner and after 3,000 miles of hard riding no mess at all. I've checked the filter for signs of oil saturation and could not find any. I have looked at the throttle body also and could not find the typical snot in there.
First thing I did when I took delivery of the bike was to suck out 16 oz of engine oil. I keep the level cold about 4 dots up from the bottom of the add oil mark.

Just an FYI the new tubes for my SE air cleaner did not resolve the issue. I still have to wipe the oil drips off after almost every ride.

Any other suggestions?
