SE High Flow oil mess relief!!

Great news! Mine hasn't spit any either but I've only logged a few hundred miles since the install. Still stumped as to why it took so long for the problem to start though. Maybe the oil in the tubes weakened them and caused them to sag? The only difference I could tell in the upgraded tubes was the rubber tabs holding them up and in place.

so HD has made available replacement tubes that rest up higher and go deeper into the intake/throttle body opening..they were aware of the problems with these kits and these new tubes will prevent the dribbling mess..part #'s 29400271 A and 29400272 A ...$17.99 for the pair..I was about to spend $400 on the Heavy Breather to mitigate the messy bs so will be giving these new tubes a test ride soon

I opted to pay the $18 instead and they sold me the parts out of the new kit on the shelf and installed them myself. Maybe 5 minutes. Actually took longer to wipe the oil residue out.

yeah, that was going to be my next step when I stumbled upon the updated tubes which thankfully have worked and saved us from buying two Heavy Breathers

First thing I did when I took delivery of the bike was to suck out 16 oz of engine oil. I keep the level cold about 4 dots up from the bottom of the add oil mark.
