SE High Flow oil mess relief!!
so HD has made available replacement tubes that rest up higher and go deeper into the intake/throttle body opening..they were aware of the problems with these kits and these new tubes will prevent the dribbling mess..part #'s 29400271 A and 29400272 A ...$17.99 for the pair..I was about to spend $400 on the Heavy Breather to mitigate the messy bs so will be giving these new tubes a test ride soon

don't know, one would assume they would be included going forward per protocol..but for folks having this problem it's good to know they acknowledged it and have an inexpensive retro fit solution..guess the only negative is now more of the oily discharge goes back into the engine to be combusted..LOL..oh well, you can't have everything, where would you put it!

yes it would..same as Apple offering to replace the iPhone batteries that didn't hold up as designed to customers for only $29.95..but I get your point and agree that would be the right thing to do, not sure how administratively easy that would be to facilitate though..at least a TSB if a customer comes in complaining about the problem the service dept could extend the offer I guess

So, I bought the SE A/C Kit (p/n 29400355) last month. According to the instructions, the hoses that came with it are 29400360 & 29400361. They are higher numbers than what the OP posted for the new ones. Do I have the old ones, or do I have "new new" ones!

It's almost like it's a backplate/filter problem, not the tubes, my Arlen Ness dose not even have tubes at all, weep holes are built right into the back plate and any oil just runs straight down the plate, seems like if the SE kit would seal better that would solve the problem instead of sticking longer tubes down its throat. I'm no engineer though.
