Default Seafoam Question?

Just out of curiosity, are any of you guys using Seafoam on your Milwaukee Eight?

Seafoam has been proven to de-carbon engines pretty well and I was considering using it on my 2017 SGS.

Just curious if it indeed has worked well for anyone using it on their Milwaukee Eight motor.

Thanks

Do you need it? What do your plugs look like? Yes it works and I have used it as preventive maintenance (following the instructions). If you motor is using a proper tune them adding Seafoam just before when you do an oil change should be enough.

IMHO...Seafoam is great as a fuel stabilizer. But, if you are looking for an additive to clean the inside of your motor, then I’d get an additive like Shell Techron that is specifically designed for that purpose.

Rather than worry about the gunk from the breather bolts screwing up my M8, I switched over to a catch can. It's still inside the breather housing, but as soon as the warranty runs out I'll be changing it over to breathe outside. I switched back to the normal system just before my 5K service, and a few hundred mile later when I went to change back to the catch can the intake had oil in it where it didn't while the catch can was connected.
