Default can an EPA compliant SE Tuner tune an aftermarket cam?

thinking about buying a HD Cam & SE Tuner at my local dealer, buying SS 475 online, and have the dealer install the SS 475 and tune it with the SEPST,

that way if the MoCo has them send in the digital footprint of the tune in my ECM, it looks like HD parts, and it should stay under warranty.

when warranty is over in a few years, throw the Power Vision on it & extract full capability.

second Q: post up a link comparing the HD Torque Cam to the aftermarket cams?
i see Cam comparo charts, but they only list all aftermarket cams.

Nothing about that will work. The S&S cam will void your warranty and the SE Street Tuner will not be able to tune the S&S cam.

Agreed! If you want your warranty to stay intact, use all HD parts. If you don't care about the warranty, then use whatever you want. It is that simple

Yeah what the others said on the first question.

Also, didn't stonecold's and steve cole's cam test thread include one of the SE cams in their comparisons?

I'll have to go look again.

thanks for the replies, i figured was a dumb Q, but I have the extended warranty and "should" try to stay in the warranty, since i paid good money for it.

Tried what? Running an aftermarket cam with an EPA restricted tuner? Why would you? It might work, but since the cam would void your warranty, and would be SO restrictive as to not get any benefits out of a better cam, its a waste of time and money I would think.

so then no one has? everyone just right off says no, yet no one has tried? I'd actually be interested in the results, seem many very high performance cars have no issues meeting the current EPA restrictions....
