Default How long in the saddle?

How long do you guys go between breaks before your butt starts screaming at you? Depending on the road conditions I知 only able to go about 75-150 miles at most. I either need a seat upgrade or a suspension grade, probably both haha. I知 still riding on the stock road glide seat

We just did 2800 miles....1800 of them in three days. 150 to 200 miles is our break point, which works out for needing gas. After 7 hours in the saddle, we are more like 120 miles though.

First run in the morning usually goes ( close to ) 200 miles, then every 100 a "stretch stop" for a few minutes ... That's about all "Red" is good for anymore

We usually stop around 100-110 miles on long trips. It's nice to have something to drink and stretch out. A couple years ago coming from Asheville NC back to Chicago in one day we ran full to empty on the gas tanks and it was brutal. But we had to get back same day.

100-125mi. a stretch then a break, been riding that way since the 70's and now the 70's only being 6 years off it's all my tired *** will deal with anyway.

Haha that痴 all I知 good for and I知 only 32. I just did an 850+ mile solo trip and I found if I just stop every hour to hour and a half for 5-10 minutes when my butt got unhappy it kept me a lot fresher, and I didn稚 end up spending 10 hours to ride 300 miles. If I知 on the freeway and the roads smooth I seem to be able last longer. I really want a better seat, are gel seats worth it? Can you go longer with em? I think I知 gonna do legends suspension front and rear next year too, when im in the open desert doing higher speeds the stock suspension on my bike really pounds on me.

Just got back from a 3800 mile trip and averaged 150 miles at a time, even with a new Cobin I needed to move the old joints from time to time. Getting old s*cos.

I get thirsty before i get sore buns but 200 miles is no prob if there’s a big gap between pubs.

One trips I usually figure on stopping every 120ish -150 miles. I have had Mustang seats on every bike I have had since about 2003 and my butt is usually fine but I find the stops for a drink, stretch your legs etc.... make those long days easier.
