Default 114 in the Ultra Limited & RGU?

I've been seeing a bunch of info that the Electra Glide Ultra Limited and the RGU are getting the 114 for the 2019 models, right? Sorry if I'm the 1000th person to bring this up.

and how much is the price going to go up?

The 114 models in the softail line are ~1300 more than the 107 models.

I rode a 107 and 114 softail heritage back to back... I personally could tell no difference except for the 1300 dollar price difference and the 114 badges.

pretty fair assessment..I rode the 114 heritage and my 107 SE dyno tuned Stage 1 ran better and stronger imo for about the same $1300...of course folks will spend the same on modifying the 114 and that would change...but if money was tight I'd rather spend it on getting the engine to breathe better and run more efficiently with a proper tune than have a bigger stock engine

I wouldnt mind having the crank from the 114.

Cylinders are easy to swap out, but it becomes a beast of a job to swap out that crank.

The 114 crank is different than the 107, how so?

I believe the technical term for the difference is 'beefier'

More stroke. 4.374 vs. 4.5" stroke.

As to if its physically a "beefier" crank, that I dont know. I doubt it because it still has to fit in the same case and I believe it uses the same bearings from 107 to 114.

I rode a 2018 CVO Limited with the 117 and it didn't feel any faster than my stock 17 Limited 107.
I mentioned it to the dealer and he said since the CVO weighs 30 lbs. more than the standard Limited, it doesn't make much difference. I did notice it put out more heat than my bike at slow speeds and of course when stopped.
