But thanks for the info.
The post I replied to made no mention of it being dyno'd.
I rode with the gauges for while but realized this is an air cooled engine and it don't like sitting in traffic.
I don't need no stinking gauges to remind me of that. However, after a cam change it feels like it runs cooler.

I do all of my own work, no dyno so if I ever need to change tune it is best to keep it inside where it wont get damaged.
If you can't find the gauges than I guess it best left to someone that knows how to tune. lol.

Feels like you're over thinking your responses. Lol I merely asked how to set up any monitoring tools, if they were indeed available on the pv tuner. And I didnt mention anything about me doing any dyno work. It's actually at the indy getting dynoed today.

Ive had headers, cam, push rods, lifters and a canned map that came with the tuner provided by fuel moto.

After watching the video oldboy posted, there are indeed MANY guages and tools that would be of benefit to a rider dyno or no dyno.

After I built my 107 for my softail and had it properly tuned I rode with the PV on it just to keep an eye on things for the first 500 miles or so after I was satisfied everything was ok the PV went back in the tool box until I needed it again for a different bike. Mainly I was checking the effectiveness of some cooling fans I installed and getting an idea of when I needed to use them. When I first got our CVO I ran with the PV on it and logged some rides just to check on the tune and really wanted to see how much changed from the twin cam to the M8. It's not a bad thing to ride with it on nor is it necessary to do so, all depends on what you want to do

I guess if you had the gauges on it you would know for sure - rather than the "feels like" conclusion. I think most folks that are running the gauges are seeking to avoid the "feels like" conclusion and actually gather some factual data.

I had the gauges on for a while and don't need them anymore. My bike runs great
It is your choice to use them or not.
