Took the bike in to have the low transmission fluid checked. Apparently it transferred 7 oz in 3000 miles. Dealership acted on tech article TA0022 and installed or replaced part# 36300028. Description doesn't mean anything to me. We'll see want happens. One thing for sure I need to get my post numbers up in case I need to by "the fix" from Mr. $tonecold.. |
You could just go over to Facebook on the M8 site and order a new clutch push rod for $67.50 from Greg Williams.. Takes about 10 minutes to install, problem solved.

saw title and thought maybe you were being held captive or something

Or he could buy the three piece pushrod from boardtrackerharleyonline.com part# 37000112, 37000113, 37092-06, for less than $30. Neither has been proven to be an absolute fix, but some people have had success with both. One thing that isn't clear is whether Mr. Williams is hardening the wear surfaces of his pushrod. Hopefully he is.
