Default HD brand soft lowers 2017 and up touring models?

Has anyone on the Forum with a 2017 and up touring model attempted to install the Harley-Davidson brand soft lowers? PN 57100210.

I have a new pair left over from my 2014 Street Glide that I never used that I installed today. I noticed right off the bat on the right side lower that the velcro strap comes into direct contact with the heat shield as it comes off the front cylinder. I'm assuming that it would melt almost instantly and/or catch on fire.

When I went to the Harley-Davidson internet store and pulled lowers up, the same part number still is applicable all the way through 2019 touring bikes.

Because there's only one way to put these things on ....I'm assuming that the product and its description and part number has just not caught up to the actual product. A bit puzzled??

used them on my 17 RK, no problems but not touching like in your pics, but I didn't care for them, something more to fuss with, stow..acts a bit as a sail at freeway speeds, blocks air to the AC and engine (not a big deal when used in the temps it's designed for) and my legs getting cold or wet has never been enough of an issue to bother me..wife uses them on her FW now no prob, but the engine guards were add on

I bought a set some years ago. Don't think I ever had them on for more than a couple hundred miles total.
