hey guys
I appreciate the input. I'm just not getting the warning screen. I have no desire to pay somebody 400 dollars to change oil in my motorcycle. I may have to take the motorcycle to the dealership and maybe they can show me what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks again for yall's help and I will post the results.

I'm not ashamed to say that this procedure took me quite a few times to get right. I've been able to get into the "Service Menu" fairly consistently now by:
  1. Turning on the ignition and waiting until the electronics are completely on.
  2. Then turn off the bike and wait at least 15 seconds.
  3. Then turn the ignition switch to Accessory.
  4. Wait until the so called warning screen appears.
  5. As soon as it appears, press and hold the "Power/Mute" button. It takes about 15 seconds.
  6. Then the "Service Menu" will appear.

It just takes practice to get the timing right I think. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I gave up. I’ll try your updated instructions next time.
