Default Softails not sumping much,,,,why??

Don't see much talk on here of Softails sumping. I know the Softail motors are more balanced but other then that are they not the same ? Why don't we see more reports of the Softail sumping. My son wants a new Fat Bob, I told him about the sumping so he has been holding back. I keep looking but I can only find 2 that sumped and one of them wasn't 100% for sure.
So other then balancing what is the difference between the Touring and Softail motors. The MoCo sure Fd this up. With that said, My self I have went out of my way to talk with every M8 owner I could by now I must have talked with over 20 different guys, and ALL of them loved there M8s. Now today I see the 19s Touring models sumping. WTF.
I'm confused in Michigan.

The softails are only one year in the market and I wonder how many M8 tourer were sold compared to M8 softails
And someone in this forum stated, that HD did revice the oilpump 11 times, means revision number 11 is the latest version.

I think the main problem is to find out the reason (or maybe a couple of reasons that might happen at the same time) why a M8 bike sumps at all.....

I purchased an 18 Heritage 114 new in September and it hasn't sumped in 3,200 miles (fingers crossed). I have read post on another forum from techs and service writers at dealerships and they all have said that they have never had a softail in with the sumping issue. I rolled the dice and couldn't be happier. I have had a lot of Harley's in my life and this Heritage is hands down my favorite. I love it.

My 2018 114 Fatbob was diagnosed with sumping at ~1600 miles. Took dealer six weeks to work it out.

It may be due to the twin counter-balancers, who knows. Touring bikes have been known to sump with <500 miles some even less than 100, so not convinced miles has anything to do with it.
