After many sets of slip ons I settled on Magnaflow Hitman 4.5's on my 2017 SGS, they sounded awesome and was chest thumping deep! Traded that bike on a 2019 CVO streetglide and was going back with the same for this bike except in black, however, I found out I had to have 4 inch slip ons to make the cvo muffler heat shields fit. Checked with Magnaflow and I ordered a set of their 4 inch "Knockouts"......WOW! These slip ons sound awesome, tried to record a clip but phone doesn't record true. They have a kick you in the teeth kind of deep punch, the best I have heard personally. Just wanted to give Magnaflow a shout out and say they are legit in the Harley game.

 

Any droning at highway speed? Quiet at speed? Can hear the radio fine etc?

 

went and looked at their site, have several others besides the Hitman and Knockouts but never really heard much about MF in my years of Harleys..actually not until reading about them here in the last year or two but have used them on some vehicles in the past and been very pleased..similar with SuperTrapp with their long successful history but just don't see many exhaust systems of theirs being used on Harleys for some reason..glad you are a happy camper with MFs !!

 

Just put them on today but no drone I can tell, this bike has a 900 watt, 6 speaker stereo so I think I could hear it no problem with an open header! But no, I dont think there would be any issue with a 2 speaker radio, they are very deep and throaty and just the right volume, all my opinion of course but I am very happy with them just as I was with the Hitmans.

 

Same for me, never really knew they were in the Harley game. I have a magnaflow cat back system on my truck and love it. I stumbled across some videos on YouTube with the hitmans and that's what brought me to them. I tried street cannons, RCX, Big Louis, S+S MK45, Tab zombies, and then Magnaflow. The two sets of Magnaflows I've had(Hitman and Knockout)sound better than any of the sets I've ran by far. For me, they are the right tone and volume and the deepest punch of any set I've heard. Very happy!

That's true! I learned my lesson last time with my 2017, that wont happen with this new bike, these slip ons and I'm done, paid for a cvo and gonna keep it cvo. I have 600 miles on it and I really wanted to keep the stock slip ons, I gave it my best shot but I just couldn't get over the Honda sound coming out of this big 117, just seemed unamerican, LoL, anyway, time to roll up some miles!

 

i also have the Hitman 4.5 on my 2017 RGS, my friends say it hits them in the chest they are so deep, and deep mellow when cruising, i have Boom 1 and can still hear it, had to raise the volume a notch or but still good

I wish you'd still post your video. I'm actually getting ready to swap my black mk45s for chrome something. I know how the mks sound so planned to just go with them but in chrome. I'd love to get something with more thump.
