Called up my Indy today to check on the bike. It is ready to go with the Aim Light Force slave cylinder installed!

Now all I need is some decent weather...

I had the VP on my 2011 RGU. Best thing since sliced bread. I had no idea just how spoiled I was until I got the 2018 CVO Limited. Just got the Light Force installed to take care of that....

Hi Guys, any thoughts of how you know if you have the Gen 1 or Gen 2, (later version I understand prevents having to bend the lower pipe)?
AIM seems to list the part LF35, most being sold, fuel moto, ebay etc are sold as LF002-001, suggests 2nd version?

The part doesnt seem to have a serial number, only the paperwork lists this?

Cheers

I don't know about the part numbers, but visually you can tell the difference by looking at the below:

Today I have picked up my new RoadKing Special, with the AIM slave cilinder installed. Compared it at the dealership with a Müller type, and the AIM is lighter to pull. Road my bike for the first time today an it ran great.

I had the older version installed a few months ago and have had zero issues. Prior to doing the install I talked with AIM and they said that the guts were identical in both older and new units.

Just installed the AIM Light Force Gen II over the weekend. Totally worth the investment and this is how the clutch should operate from the factory.

Much easier to pull the lever and now there is actually a friction zone. Bonus is that I don't have to take the bile in for the clutch recall anymore.

Just an FYI for those looking to get one of these AIM Light Force Gen2. Eastern Performance has then on ebay for 279.00.. There is an ebay coupon out there good for 10% off. it says select customers so give it a try... MYTENOFF is the code.

Remember don't hit buy it now. Hit add to cart, then go to checkout, enter the coupon to see your price. Then finalize the deal if you want to get it. I just paid 251.00 free shipping. YMMV
