Default Khromewerks or other headers on a tourer

Hi all,
so I have a Khrome werks 2-2 full system on its way and reading the install instructions it suggests removing the trans cover to install a bracket for the headers, I checked this with some other manufacturers headers which describe similar. however it seems on the M8 the bracket that hold the stock headers on these M8s is now attached to the engine casing just in front of the Trans cover.
Has anyone else installed these or similar and dealt with this?
BTW - i double checked fitment and it is correct.
Thanks

The D&D billet cat requires removing the transmission cover to place a bracket. No problems with fit

I have the 2-2 system in the Eclipse color. Currently running the competition baffle and my bike has a nice deep sound. Which baffle did you choose?

Hi Buddy. - it seems we are “of the few” that run these - I have yet to install mine hoping to do it before the weekend.
I chose them after hearing a slip on comparison, though I eventually opted for a 2-2 full system, like you, in eclipse.
As for the baffles I dont recall having a choice so perhaps I need to check. So far as Im aware I just bought them as they supply from the factory.
Cheers

They make 3 different baffle types. Competition, Standard and Quiet. My dealer let me choose which one I wanted. Love the Eclipse color on the Special too!

I'm a big fan of the stepped header design and this system can efficiently handle my Stage 4 upgrade. I think you'll like it.

Hi,
not sure if they updated but it seems my options were:

Touring - optional extra
Performance louvred - optional extra

Cheers
