I did it. Picked it up yesterday. The drive home from the dealer was 200 miles, so I got to test it out on the interstate all the way. I have to say, it has a lot of power. More than my 103 did de-catted and tuned, but I guess that's to be expected from a 4-valve 114. It's nice to see that HD is stepping up their game in the HP & torque department. I don't know what they've done to the suspension, but it seems to handle a bit better than my 2014 did also. I can sling it around pretty easily. My initial impression is that I made the right choice.

awesome, congrats! think I would have taken the backroads even if it was twice the distance rather than have its initial break in on the interstate but guessing you did the best you could under the circumstances..great bike, enjoy!

Congrats! You will love the M8, I believe it is the next best step for the MoCo. The new frame is a total winner for sure.

Didn't the OP buy a touring model? No new frame for them since 2009.
