Default Zippers Red Shift 468 Cam

I'm buying a 2019 Road Glide with the 107 motor. They are going to do the stage 3 and make it a 114. My dealers service department has recommended the Zippers Red Shift 468 Cam in this build. I would like to know if anyone has experience with this cam and what they think of it.

The RS468 is a good cam in a stock 107, at 11-1 compression I think there are better cams out there.

The RS 468 is a great cam and will work fine in your application as long as the tuning tech knows what he's doing and uses a good flash tuner, PV, TTS, DL.

Here is a CVO 114 stage 2 that we did with the 468 and it did well...As a bonus you can see what adding a 62 mm HPI did for it. The added compression of your build will make it a touch better.

The RS468 is a really nice cam and works really well in a Stage III combination. You can find dyno info for the RS468 cam in the 114 engine as well as an assortment of others from our Cam Shootout on our FM University site here.

Yes inquiring minds would like to know.

If the dealer is recommending an aftermarket cam and using the SE tuner, seems like a waste.

Don’t you need to do some break-in prior to performance tuning?
(Bye bye power train warranty anyway)
