Default Question about 2017 M8 vs 2018 M8

The 2017 Fat Boy 114 issue, turns out has bad rings and valve seals. This came about with only 800 miles. The 114 engine rings are apparently very thin causing this issue, pretty wide spread from what I found out as well.

Did mother HD fix this apparent issue in the 2018s??

I just got a 2018 Fat Boy S.....Should I worry?

17 verses 18 were two completely different bikes with in the Fat man series, 18 is the first year of the M8 and new frame for it . 17 was still a twinkie.

I read this off of one of the other forums so I expected it to be true. That's what I get for believing what I read? I have learned a lot of things about my new '18 FLFBS since this post.....
