I was telling someone the other day that I wish we wouldn't have bought our house for $36k in 1984. Everything after that, especially something non essential, seems so expensive compared to where we raised our 3 girls. Pick-ups are $60k and some motorcycles are $50k. But, we live near a lake in northern Michigan where the price is around $7k a front foot.

I really like the color and looks of this CVO. My first house was $45,000 back in the early 80's. LOL

With inflation 45k in 1985 is 105406 today. 18k in 1985 is 42162 today. I still wouldn't spend 45k today's money on a bike to ride maybe 6 months a year when I could have a nice muscle or sports car for the same money.

BTw, I’m not saying sales are great, I don’t know how many bikes are being sold. I was just reflecting what I saw,
