If you initially wanted s 2-1, I personally would put a little more $ with your 700 and get the D+D billet cat with ghost pipe, check out some YouTube videos, I've heard it in person and it sounds awesome! MK45's perform well but you will probably be disappointed with idle, there is zero idle with them unless you have a cam. I say go with your gut and go 2-1 if that's what you wanted.

I have the CFR’s on my Road King. Good rumble, deep idle sound and no droning when cruising. They have a good sound when you open it up.

these are the two pipes i am looking at, they both have great reviews and both are well made slip ons.

I put 700 in financing toward an exhaust , didn't order anything because touring bikes , as well as the M8, are entirely new to me. I need some help here. Ideally id like to go for performance, 2 into 1 with a ghost pipe , which okay , looks like 1000 to 1200 but that's not even figuring out if or how to get a ghost pipe. I'd like 2 into 1 for performance, simple stage 1 setting up for cams etc later.

However , with the 700 and maybe scrape together a couple hundred more, my only option really is just slip one. Which is perfectly fine , I need it to be louder but again, would have to have good slip ons for when I change the head pipe etc.

I WILL NOT purchase bassani. I loved the sound and performance on my S but when their exhaust fell apart and they told me to go F myself rather than replace it , I will not give them another dime.

any advice on good sounding , performance slip ons would be great. Rhineharts sounded Good?
I know that dealership lol. But to answer your question have the Street Cannons and they sound good. As someone also posted the FM Outlaws are also good.

I just had the Mk 45's installed before Xmas and they sound great to me at idle but I also went with the S&S 475 cam at the same time. I've not had a chance to ride and likely won't till April as I live in the frozen north.

That 475 cam will defiantly help those slippons sound great. Have a buddy with that cam, big difference in sound. Wondering do u have a 107 or 114? It will be a long winter waiting to try out that cam. Im in the market for a cam myself.

I've got a 2017 Road King with the M8 107. I left it completely stock till my warranty was up and then went right to a stage 2. I was considering going Stage 2 with all HD parts but where I live there's 4 HD dealers all approx 3 hours away from home. I've got a real good Indy just 30 minutes away that likes the S&S parts so it made my decision easier.
