Anyone here has replaced their side vents buttons? Are they easy/hard to replaced? Mines don't make the click anymore and are sticky. Already lubed them. Still don't work like the way when they were brand new.

Last time one of mine had issue on my previous bike, they replaced the unit under warranty. I do find I kinda need to push it in a certain way on my new bike to get it to catch, like down and force towards out on my new bike. And I don't do it at speed to lessen any forces on the door.

I leave mine open all the time, but have noticed a few times playing with them that it seems, as modes said, you need to be holding your tongue right for them to catch.

 

One of mine broke so I bought the little clicker deal (door latch) from HD. Was about 5-6 bucks each. PN: 57100167
Not too hard to replace but you have to remove the fairing/speaker box etc.
