This is my first bike with the com setup. I was driving down the road the other day and attempted to do voice command GPS directions. It let me get all the way through giving the address, and even asked me to repeat the numerical portion of the address. Then as it was loading the map the screen went black. I still had sound, and all the controls worked. I just had to fumble my way through until I could stop and reset the bike. It did this twice. Took it to the dealer and they said it’s a “safety feature”. It doesn’t allow you to do GPS, even by voice command, while in motion, and the screen goes black so you don’t keep screwing with it. This doesn’t make sense to me. Why would it let you get through ALL of the steps to input the address and implement the “safety feature” only after you’ve done all the unsafe things? Does anyone know if this is legit, or was the tech just being lazy?

Have you confirmed you have the most current firmware update? I can’t confirm your error because I don’t do voice commands. Version: MY19.18.42.01. I had to update mine when I took delivery.

Oh my 17 the only thing I’ve found that is locked out while moving, is weather details. Seriously...f-d up. But, it displays a message about the fu;citing not available while vehicle is in motion. So, I’m not buying the blank screen is a protection while the bike is in motion. Have you tried the same thing with just the accessories switchedcon?
