Strange "deposit" found in air cleaner

Doing an oil change (15k ) and air filter cleaning on 17 RGS and found this sludge in front of the throttle body.

I previously rain Redline products in all three holes until I switched to Lucas during the last change to try it out. I have no idea what this sludge is or where it came from. It's a thick milky brown. All drained fluids looked normal to me.

Small amounts in breather hoses too.

Any ideas?

Do you do a lot of short trips in cooler weather . That is moisture mixed with oil Often indication of bike not reach full operating temps. Over fill oil level will also cause more oil in the AC and that will pick up water also. It is not strange but common for some. Until they learn what it is and the cause.

Every time you shut off your bike. The fuel charge that was just sprayed gets left behind. It is always behind air butterfly and intake.

Throttle by wire came into being since it is also there even if you are not cutting it off but throttle back to idle quickly. Your breather from the heads does not look stock since they don't normally drop on mouth of throttle body.
That appears to be some moisture from some short runs where bike was not got up to temperature. Probably ought to change your oil a little sooner if you see that often.

Won't hurt anything but I am sure you post will be the start of a tin man selling his 1920 vent system.

Thanks guys. I was fearing it was new oil transfer issue on the M8s I discovered.

Makes sense that it's water since I've gotten stuck in the rain a lot recently and forget to put the sock on.

it's not that, it's internal combustion EPA mandated blah blah blah, kinda' sorta' the automotive equivalent to PCV...redirection of emissions to be regenerated into combustion instead of the atmosphere.
