Hello everyone,
My local Harley shop has a Scorched Orange RG on the floor. (And Available) He’s going to knock off 1200 bucks off MSRP.
Does the 114 run much better than that 103. I have a Road Glide Ultra with 20,000 miles one it. (Offer$17,500). I know it’s got a better radio and other stuff. Unable to test drive because of the weather here in Colorado.
I guess I’m looking for reason for somebody to tell me to do it. Haha..

The bike you have is a nice bike, I traded in a 2012 street glide with a built 103, with headwork cams and Axtell fit pistons putting out 119 hp. and 124 Tq. I think my new scorched orange street glide with the 114 and a pipe and heavy breather would give my old bike all it could handle!

As far as how good does the 114" M8 do compared to a 103, that I can't tell you. I can tell you that my stage two 107" M8 is right there with my 117" TC up to about 2500 rpm, both are a lot of fun to ride.

absolutely, weigh the risk rewards of that or buyers remorse..but given that pretty much every touring bike manufacturer has gone mono, and HD has with Soft Tails, it seems inevitable and likely not far off.....I don't believe there is much chance of it not being a significant overall improvement in ride and handling..tough call though
