2019 RGS 114 w/Zipper 468 finally installed
So I just got the bike back with the Zippers 468 installed and tuned. Bike is a 2019 Road Glide Special 1500 miles with Heavy Breather, Thunderheader, 1257N clutch springs, and tuned with Power Vision. Had them ad S&S oil pump and cam plate and S&S tappet cuffs. Stock heads, TB, and injectors. Bike turned max torque 128 and 103 HP. No chasing numbers and I think these numbers are fine for me but I can tell you the ride is amazing. A **** ton of fun and cam makes my Thunderheader sound like my old 113 S&S Evo motor. WOW, loving it.
SEA - smoothing 5. Don't know what gear. Really just wanted to insure tune kept the engine safe, not chasing numbers. Love the way the bike rides.

I think the TH brought the torque of fast at the expense of a little horse power but it is a touring bike. I will say it is pretty snappy but actually LESS jumpy than it was before the new cam. Not sure if that's from the tune or the cam, or both. Stone C. is your bike still a 107 or did you bump it up to 117?
I would have like to see the graph start a little earlier just to see what it's doing from the very get go.

Check the PV tuner for a throttle progress setting, may be able to get some jump back. My FP3 throttle setting is set to aggressive and can go up one more to 1:1 but I don't need it. That Zipper 468 cam performs well. Looks like a good setup and will be a lot of fun to play with on some back roads. Someday maybe....Jealous over here.

Looks good! I was on the fence about which cam. Was between the rs468 and the Andrews m462. The M462 ended up with 120 tq on my 107. Almost identical curve to yours. Very happy with the results of mine. How is the rs468 at idle. Only thing that kept me from going that way was the review from Steve Cole and $tonecolds cam testing. I know they said you could feel a surging at idle on it. Just wanted to keep the drivability at all rpms. The m462 didn't have as much overlap. So that was the deciding factor for me.

So what pipes and air cleaner are you running? Sounds like your bike runs really strong!

I’ll have to go back and read our thread. I don’t recall anything about a surging idle. Because of the overlap it was a little harder to tune down low, but you have to consider that Steve tunes them below idle speed. Now I have gone so low on rpm while riding that the bike stuttered or surged, but I’m pretty sure I was below 1800 rpm, maybe lower. Basically the RS468 has been a great cam.

I do not remember what page it was on. Basically there was a suggestion it riding at idle it may not be the best for that. All I can think was there are time I am literally wanting a smooth drivability at idle. Not saying you were downing the RS468. YouYand Steve did a great job on the cam testing. I decided on the m462 after talking with Andrews. I am running heavy breather, v&h dresser duals with 450 raiders and thunder torque inserts. I ran with the fp3 then made switch to the power vision. Torque is down low. I rarely run over 4000 anyways so happy with results. May still try adjusting the tti's. But it runs strong. Here is the comparison runs.
