Well, color is important, but not a deal-breaker. I'd just stick to Vivid Black. Can't go wrong.
What catches my eye in the OP is the dissonance in the OP's comments that HD sales are "crumbling", yet some models are running $5k over MSRP, and can't be found at any price. Huh?

i traded a 17 sgs with 15k miles for an 18sgs and $2k cash and will do the same in 6 months on a MY19.
hopfully they’ll come out with an all new frame which means the 19 will plummet.

I never will forget the first time I set foot in Bruce Rossmeyers Destination Daytona in 2009. WOW all the bikes and everyone was marked up $5 to $8 k over MSRP. I’m like what the heck is going on.
Well it appeared to be two things, the old we can give you a LOT more for your trade trick and the I’m in town and want it now deal with those caught up in the moment.
I have paid MSRP, I also got a super discount on our current bike by waiting this October after th 2018’s were already out. But I have NEVER paid over MSRP for anything that flies, floats or rolls.
