MSRP on 2019 TOURING MODELS
The time has come to trade my beloved Marilyn... a 2009 FLHX turned Ultra... in for a 2019 Ultra Limited. Thing is, the dealer acts like this thing is made of gold and he doesn't seem willing to budge on price. How many of you have managed to get your new scoots for less than the advertised MSRP? My '09 still runs great after 58K miles, and I' have no issues with keeping her for awhile longer until I feel like I can get a decent deal on a 2019. Am I off base expecting to deal a little?

Harley Davidson Motorcycle Touring Ultra Limited 2019 MSRP: $28,089.00 Dealer Invoice Cost $23,314.00 Your 2009 FLHX Clean Trade: $8,315
Tell them the out the door price (with everything included, tax, title, setup, freight etc.) with your bike in trade for you is $18,386.00 (18,386 + 8,315 = $26,701). They will probably give you more in trade on paper for your bike, but the bottom line is getting the price you want. If they do not want to do the deal, walk and tell them if they reconsider give you a call, no negotiation. Note: your bike is 10 years old and there is a glut of used Harley's on the market. Just giving you a real life figure. Good Luck
I got a good deal on my 2019 Tri Glide using this type of formula. Go in on the last day of the month. Give me a PM if you want to know the dealer I used which is about 4 1/2 hours from you.

The bike in the avatar, '18 RG standard, I went to my local dealer Berts Black Widow, there were at retail and low balled me on my trade. I posted a question here, "who gives good deals in Florida". A few Dudes said call Keith Boggs @ Seminol HD in Sanford. Called him and over the phone he saved me $ 5500. That Saturday we made the deal, no bullshit just a quick deal! In 30 minutes I was riding away!

Look around good don't just stay with one dealer buy that the end of each month thats when you can get the best prices. HD is sitting on way to many motorcycles these days there to many of them out there, do has dave the welder did you will and can find the deal your looking for just look and call around you may have to do some traveling around a bit. But to save 5500 bucks it would be will worth it at lease for me.
