Default Powder Coating on Fugly Fangs

I just dropped off my fork wind deflectors at the powder coaters for a gloss black coat to match my 19SGS. Anyone already do this? If so, post up pics. I am curious how this will look. I am talking about the Harley Davidson Fork Mounted Wind Deflectors, not the eBay or off-brand stuff.

Thanks in advance.

Here's a set I had cut-down to clear the driving/signal lights I added on my '17 SGS...

My mistake. I see not you “had” them cut, not did it yourself. I’m planning on doing the same. I have a set of aftermarket fangs, which work, but don’t look as good as the HD ones.

You wouldn’t happen to have the measurements you used, would you? (Mostly laziness on my part, and partially not wanting to remove my aux light assemblies and risk more scratching (usual, soft as veal HD black paint).

That photo looks like you have them backwards?

I’ve looked at them six ways to Sunday and it’s really hard to tell in photos. The instructions show they should be installed convex side forward. I think he’s got them right.

I wonder how they would work installed backwards.

Those look good. I wonder how they would look on a bike with blacked out forks.

If the opposite side is concave, I’d think it would cause more wind resistance
